Official Country Categories to enter Jordan
PLEASE NOTE: As of January 20th 2021, country categories lists have been suspended and all arrivals will undergo the same procedure. The below process may be reintroduced in a scenario where countries begin to diverge in their response to the pandemic. However in the present environment there are no quarantine requirements for arrivals in Jordan.
Countries allowed to enter Jordan have been categorised into 3 colour categories. Provided visitors do not have contact with infected passengers (seated within 2 seats of positive test result) during their travel and have negative PCR test result on arrival will be permitted to leave the airport
As requirements are constantly being updated please refer to the requirements applicable to you on covid-19 page. Specific isolation details are also available.
The country lists are intended to cover all locations where visitors can travel to Jordan. It is important to understand that this country list is relevant to where you have been in the past 14 days rather than your nationality on your passport. For any passenger who has spent any of the past 14 days in a country not listed they will face red level isolation requirements. Jordan is open for tourists travelling from all listed countries, regardless of your nationality. Existing visa requirements remain in place.
To confirm relevant period of self isolation, visitors travelling from countries will need to prove that they have resided in that country for at least 14 days prior to departure. Evidence can include credit card transactions, accommodation and other receipts, etc. These transactions should issued to or charged against a bank card in the name of the traveler. Passport holders and residents of the country of departure should prepare appropriate proof that they remained in the country for minimum 14 days prior to departure.
